Role
The Full Stack Developer is responsible for maintaining and evolving TESO Group’s in-house systems (TESO Dock, TESO Dashboard, Teso Tools), owning production stability, release quality, and technical debt as the store network scales. The role also builds new features and modules per roadmap priorities and establishes AI-driven development workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and iterate production systems (TESO Dock, TESO Dashboard, Teso Tools); create documentation, monitoring, and an on-call rotation to reduce single-maintainer risk.
- Develop roadmap features including product tax management, automated KPI dashboards, ticketing system, HRIS modules, and contributions to an in-house POS prototype and store pilot.
- Drive AI-assisted development: requirement breakdown, code generation, testing, refactoring, and build the team’s AI development workflow, prompt library, and tooling standards (vibe coding).
- Enforce engineering quality via coding standards, reviews, CI/release processes, tests, and documentation; manage technical debt.
- Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to clarify requirements, follow adoption feedback, and fix post-launch defects.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above; computer science or software engineering preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years in full-stack development; experience inheriting and improving existing codebases preferred.
- Technical skills: Proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript and Python; Next.js/React, Node.js, PostgreSQL; REST APIs and cloud deployment (AWS).
- AI & tooling: Hands-on experience with AI-driven development and AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot); familiarity with vibe-coding workflows.
- Competencies: Full SDLC ownership, testing, CI/release process, documentation, monitoring, on-call practices, and strong collaboration with business stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year
