Build and own frontend features for OpusClip's next-generation AI video maker, rapidly prototyping and shipping product iterations while collaborating with product and marketing. Job Description

Role

As a Full Stack Engineer (Frontend) you will help build OpusClip’s next-generation smart AI video maker, moving prototypes through beta to production. You will work closely with product and marketing to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver features using agent technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own frontend development and collaborate across product and marketing to rush prototypes, beta tests, and production releases.
  • Implement performant, responsive UIs with strong state management and attention to UX and detail.
  • Contribute to backend/API design and server-side components as needed to support product features.
  • Solve agent reliability and integration challenges using creative engineering approaches.
  • Work in a cross-time-zone team with occasional evening meetings and on-site collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–6+ years experience as a Full Stack Engineer with strong frontend ownership; total software engineering experience listed as 0–5 years in parts of the posting (see application details).
  • Deep experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar).
  • Experience with TypeScript and web state management libraries (examples listed: jotai, redux).
  • Solid backend experience (Node.js, Python, or similar) and API design experience; experience with server-side frameworks such as Django is noted.
  • Strong understanding of web performance, state management, and responsive design.
  • Product-driven mindset, high attention to UX, entrepreneurial/hacker spirit, ability to work fast and iterate.
  • Comfortable collaborating with senior engineers across Asia time zones and working on-site in Palo Alto.

Preferred

  • Experience building AI agents (dynamic planning, tool calls, memory, evaluation systems).
  • History of building products as an individual developer or side projects.
  • Familiarity with Cursor and other AI coding tools (explicitly called out).

  • Compensation Range: $142K - $213K (as listed in the posting).
