Role
As a Full-stack Software Engineer at NickAI you’ll build the customer-facing interface for an agentic operating system that enables users to design, deploy, and monitor autonomous AI agents across crypto, prediction markets, and equities. Your work covers visual workflow builders, agent templates, real-time monitoring, AI model configuration, and marketplace interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Frontend: Build and enhance a Next.js 15 / React 19 application for visual agent creation, AI model configuration UIs, responsive UX for complex agent logic, and real-time dashboards with data visualizations (execution quality metrics such as latency, slippage, fill quality).
- Backend Integration: Connect the frontend to execution engines, receipts systems, and AI orchestration layers; build APIs for agent creation, template management, and marketplace functionality; integrate real-time data streams via WebSockets; support multiple AI providers and data sources.
- Marketplace: Implement interfaces for discovering, deploying, and managing community-created agent templates.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with backend engineers, AI researchers, quants, and infrastructure teams on multi-asset execution infrastructure (crypto, predictions, stocks).
Requirements
- 5+ years of full stack development experience.
- Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Radix UI.
- Backend: Node.js (Go experience a plus); databases PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, real-time data streaming, testing, and deployment practices.
- Proven track record shipping production-grade web applications; experience with fintech, trading platforms, AI/ML products, or crypto is strongly preferred.
- Strong product and UX sensibility; self-starter who prototypes, proposes solutions, and translates complex technical concepts into intuitive user experiences.
