Fullstack AI Agent Dev Senior (node.js + vue.js + claude code)

Role

Senior Fullstack AI Agent Developer tasked with delivering high-quality full-stack web applications and APIs (Node.js and Vue.js) while leading the structured adoption of AI-augmented software development across squads using Claude AI/Claude Code.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, scale, and maintain back-end services (Node.js) and modern front-end interfaces (Vue.js) for high-scale SaaS platforms.
• Act as the team’s focal point for AI augmentation, embedding Claude AI across SDLC phases (implementation, testing, code review, documentation, maintenance).
• Use Claude Code for repository-level tasks, diff reviews, branch workflows, and pull request management.
• Configure and maintain project context files, defining standards, guardrails, and acceptance criteria for AI agent usage.
• Create and maintain subagents, skills, and standardized prompt libraries for recurring engineering tasks.
• Integrate agents with internal tools, repositories, task managers, databases, and observability platforms via Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Implement CI/CD quality automations using hooks and Claude for automated PR reviews, compliance checks, and test coverage.
• Apply context engineering to large or legacy codebases, manage context window limits, and perform output validation.
• Conduct pair programming, onboarding, and enablement to build team capability in AI-assisted workflows.
• Monitor AI adoption metrics (lead time, PR throughput, defect rates) and define human-in-the-loop code review criteria.
• Maintain documentation for APIs, architecture decisions, component design, and AI adoption guidelines.

Requirements

Must have

• 5+ years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.
• Minimum 12 months professional daily usage of Claude Code and mandatory proven experience applying Claude AI across the SDLC.
• Strong back-end development experience with Node.js, RESTful and event-driven APIs, SOLID principles, and clean code practices.
• Strong front-end development experience with Vue.js (Composition API, state management, routing) and HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with reusable component architecture, design systems, and UI libraries (e.g., PrimeVue, eCharts).
• Hands-on experience configuring context files, subagents, skills, and prompt templates.
• Experience with MCP integration to connect AI agents to dev tools, databases, and platforms.
• Experience setting up CI/CD automations for automated PR reviews and code quality checks.
• Context engineering skills, task decomposition, and context window management on complex or legacy codebases.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, Azure, Docker, Redis, and MongoDB (modeling, indexing, performance).
• Experience with API management, contract versioning, and web security (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, XSS/CSRF protection).
• Experience implementing automated testing (unit, integration, UI), accessibility (A11y), performance profiling, and observability (logs, metrics, tracing).

Nice to have

• Experience building internal automations or agents with Claude Agent SDK / Claude API.

Other Details

• Fully remote role with occasional, pre-planned visits to client or FCamara sites in Portugal or Central Europe.
• Accepted candidates must currently and lawfully reside (with work permit) in one of: Portugal, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Romania.
• No visa sponsorship or relocation support.
• English proficiency required at B2+ (professional working proficiency).
• Contract model may be employment, independent contractor, or B2B depending on location and profile.
