Role
You will join a ~10‑person Agile/Scrum team as a freelance Fullstack developer (.NET/Angular) and act as a productivity catalyst by applying AI‑assisted development methods. The mission is to dramatically accelerate a planned front‑end rewrite and legacy remediation by using prompts, agents and augmented IDEs to generate high‑quality code at higher velocity.
Key Responsibilities
- Pilot AI tools and agents to produce and validate frontend components and migrations rather than developing in a classical way.
- Industrialize conversion of legacy screens and Angular v15 code to Angular v21 using prompts and migration agents.
- Contribute to rewriting ~1300 database stored procedures into an ORM layer.
- Use AI to systematically generate test coverage (unit tests and end‑to‑end tests).
- Implement agentic workflows connected to the codebase to automate code reviews, debt remediation, bug fixes and eventually user‑story implementation.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines to include AI‑based verification steps and automated checks.
Deliverables
- AI‑generated Angular components: modular, optimized and documented code produced via AI workflows.
- Extensive automated test harness: mass creation of unit and integration/E2E tests to secure the refactor.
- Prompt/Agent library and documentation: reusable patterns and migration agents to upskill the team.
- Augmented CI/CD contributions: pipeline steps for automatic verification and QA.
Requirements
- Strong mastery of .NET Core and Angular (experience validating and correcting AI outputs is required).
- Proven experience with legacy migration strategies (front‑end migration and DB stored procedure remediation to ORM).
- Advanced usage of augmented IDEs and large‑model tools (examples given: Google Antigravity, Claude Code; models: Claude Sonet, GPT Codex).
- Prompt engineering skills: ability to structure complex contexts for automated code rewriting.
- Software craftsmanship mindset with emphasis on testability and maintainability (TDD, single responsibility, clean code).
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum and as a technical catalyst within a cross‑functional team.
