Graphic Design - Remote

Role

We are seeking a remote Graphic Designer (independent contractor) to critique, experiment with, and shape how AI understands and simulates multi-modal design workflows across mediums. The core mission is to craft and review experimental design workflows that combine digital/immersive visual design with frontier AI models.

Key Responsibilities

• Work 10–20 hours per week (potential to increase based on performance).
• Collaborate asynchronously with a multidisciplinary design team.
• Craft, critique, and review experimental design workflows that leverage frontier AI models.
• Contribute to portfolio-quality digital and immersive visual designs across websites, apps, brand/marketing assets, and new media.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional experience in graphic or UI design.
• Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field.
• Strong background in high-quality digital or immersive visual design and unique aesthetics.
• Exposure to working with LLMs and GenAI prompting; familiarity with vibe coding.
• Proficiency with creative coding tools (explicitly mentions HTML/CSS, Processing, and three.js).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.

• Short AI interview about your creative process.
• Portfolio review and a writing assessment.

Contract & Payment Terms

• Independent contractor engagement; fully remote and schedule-flexible.
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Work will not involve access to third-party confidential or proprietary information.
• Payments are weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.

Schedule & Start Date

• Role begins in late December; applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
