The GTM Engineer will design, build, and operate AI-powered agents and automations to support demand generation across Observability, Service Management, and Database products. The role focuses on end-to-end development, governance, integration with GTM systems, and enabling Marketing and Sales with scalable, reliable automation solutions.

Job Description

Role

The GTM Engineer is responsible for the full lifecycle of AI and automation solutions that power demand generation and lead flow for Observability, Service Management, and Database subscription portfolios. This role partners with Marketing, Sales, IT, Security, and other stakeholders to deploy agentic solutions and enterprise automations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and machine-learning orchestration patterns (prompts, chains, context packs).
  • Build and maintain complex Zapier Canvas automations and other GTM integrations.
  • Develop retrieval integrations (e.g., Glean/Genie, transcripts, product telemetry) to ground agents in real-time business context.
  • Implement and manage Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) approval workflows for critical processes.
  • Create reusable automation modules, templates, and workflow standards for enterprise adoption.
  • Establish governance frameworks and processes for agent deployment, behavior management, and compliance with ethical and security guidelines.
  • Monitor system health, error rates, and uptime across the GTM stack and ensure integration reliability (Salesforce, Marketo, Outreach, Qualified, 6sense, Slack, Google).
  • Define, track, and optimize KPIs for agent task accuracy, resolution speed, and measurable business impact.
  • Translate marketing and sales programs into technical specifications and programmatic execution (evergreen email nurture design).
  • Develop documentation, knowledge bases, and training playbooks to enable cross-functional adoption of agentic solutions.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B marketing, Revenue Operations, or Sales Strategy with deep understanding of lead funnels, ABM principles, and demand generation metrics.
  • Proven experience with AI prompt engineering, agent alignment, and failure mode management.
  • Comfort with structured and unstructured datasets; strong preference for SQL proficiency and independent analysis of agent performance data.
  • Platform experience across CRM, marketing automation, and automation platforms; ability to integrate and maintain reliability across GTM systems.
  • Experience defining governance, monitoring reliability, and tracking KPIs for automation and agent deployments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge of Python or JavaScript or demonstrated “vibe-coding” aptitude for managing tool interactions and API-first platforms.
  • Experience with LLMs, agent architectures, or orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI).
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party system integration.
  • Background with no-code/low-code platforms and implementing MCP frameworks between GTM tools.

Team & Context

This role sits on the GTM Technology team within Marketing Strategy & Operations and supports both Marketing and Sales by delivering tools, enablement, and insights to manage inbound and outbound lead flow.
