GTM Engineer
Explicitly requires daily use of AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) as part of development workflows.
About the Role
Join Vibe's Growth team to own and operate the internal GTM platform: split time between maintaining code quality and reviewing PRs from cross-functional contributors, and building end-to-end features, integrations, and tooling that power GTM operations. This role combines full‑stack development, infrastructure/DevOps responsibilities, and enabling non‑engineer contributors to ship safely.
Job Description
Role
You will join Vibe’s Growth team and be the technical owner (reporting to the Director of GTM Systems) of the internal GTM platform. The role balances maintenance — reviewing PRs, validating security and production readiness, and preserving code quality — with product work: scoping, building, and shipping features that solve business problems and enable cross-functional contributors.
Key Responsibilities
- Review pull requests from cross-functional contributors; validate logic, security, and production-readiness.
- Maintain and improve the GTM platform codebase as contributor count grows.
- Enable non-engineer contributors to ship safely and independently.
- Identify business problems and build end-to-end features from scoping through adoption.
- Integrate external APIs and enrichment providers into the application.
- Own tooling enablement: build, test, and document tools so others can use them.
- Manage deployments, servers, and infrastructure for the GTM platform.
- Maintain code quality standards, documentation, and contributor patterns across the stack.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, including front-end work.
- Fluency with a modern web stack: JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js, Postgres, Docker, AWS, Prisma, and API integrations.
- Experience contributing to and reviewing code in a multi-person codebase (PR reviews, merge conflicts, sequencing changes).
- Proven track record owning features end-to-end: identifying the problem, building solutions, and driving adoption without a handed spec.
- Comfortable with DevOps: servers, deploys, and infrastructure are part of day-to-day responsibilities.
- Daily use of AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) as part of regular development workflows.
Nice to Haves
- Side projects or independent builds you can discuss in detail.
- Design sensibility to identify unusable front-end implementations.
Values & Working Style
Vibe emphasizes Impact, Ambition, and Urgency: tying goals to business outcomes, thinking 10x, and moving daily. The environment is high-performance with expectations of ownership and results.
