Role
TiDB is hiring a GTM & Sales Operations Associate (North America) to act as the analytical and operational backbone for the region. The role combines market and GTM analysis with hands-on systems work to produce recommendations, reliable forecasts, clean sales data, automated workflows, and accurate compensation calculations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build an outside-in view of the North America market, competition, and buyers and align that with internal deal data to produce regional recommendations.
- Own pipeline and forecast analytics and run a trustworthy forecast cadence; interpret data and propose recommended fixes.
- Develop AI-native systems and automations by wiring LLMs and low-code tools into daily sales workflows to reduce manual work.
- Manage sales compensation and incentive calculations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain CRM/data foundation and ensure data integrity so people and AI agents can rely on it.
- Coordinate between North America leadership and global HQ across time zones to align strategy, numbers, and priorities.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in Sales Ops, RevOps, GTM/Business Strategy, market/competitive research, consulting, or other analytical roles.
- Strong analytical depth: ability to move from raw data to defensible recommendations, including using outside research when internal samples are small.
- Native or professional fluency in English and Mandarin preferred to enable clear communication with regional teams and global HQ.
- Power user of modern LLMs and automation tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini); comfortable using APIs and low-code tools to build internal automations.
- Familiarity with “vibe coding” practices: prompting, using Claude Code / Cursor, and building internal tools via natural language and low-code approaches.
Compensation & Benefits
- U.S. base salary range: USD 80,000 to 130,000 (actual pay depends on level, location, experience, and other factors).
- Eligible to participate in TiDB’s Bonus and Equity Plan and Sales Compensation Plan (if applicable).
