Job Description
Role
You will be part of Accenture’s Life Sciences R&D Automation Enablement Operations, building AI-driven automation solutions to speed up research and development processes. The role centers on Python software development, API design and integration, deployment activities, and exploring/implementing Agentic AI approaches to create autonomous workflows and intelligent agents. The position emphasizes rapid iteration using vibe coding practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AI-driven applications using Python.
- Design, build, and integrate Python APIs for various R&D use cases.
- Work with VS Code and other development tools to write, test, and debug code.
- Implement and experiment with Agentic AI approaches (autonomous agents, task orchestration, embeddings).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions and integrate automation into workflows.
- Contribute to deployment processes and operational maintenance of automation systems.
- Analyze and solve moderately complex problems; adapt existing methods and create new solutions where needed.
- Potentially manage small teams or lead small work efforts and follow strategic direction from senior management.
- May be required to work in rotational shifts.
Requirements
Required
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience developing and integrating APIs (Python APIs).
- Familiarity with development tooling such as VS Code (or similar IDEs).
- Hands-on experience with deployment processes and software development best practices (version control, testing, debugging).
- Understanding of Agentic AI concepts (autonomous agents, task orchestration, embeddings).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work under pressure and learn quickly; ability to work well in a team.
Preferred
- Exposure to Agentic AI frameworks (Autogen, Agno AI, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience & Education
- Education: BE/BTech.
- Experience: 7–11 years (role references 1–2 years of AI developer experience within the team context for certain responsibilities).
