Incubation Strategist

Role

The Incubation Strategist bridges customer challenges, AI research, and product roadmaps to create future vision narratives and demonstrable proofs-of-concept. Working closely with research managers, product managers, engineers, and customers, this role drives human-centered discovery, narrative creation, and design execution to surface and realize strategic incubation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct human-centered discovery with customers and internal stakeholders to identify end-user needs and innovation opportunities.
• Create end-to-end narratives and north-star visions that communicate value and guide product direction.
• Produce screens, storyboards, visuals, and motion assets to convey user experience and business impact.
• Use design and creative tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides, Keynote, and AI-powered applications) to develop narratives and presentations.
• Build vision demos and proofs-of-concept across web, mobile, and future UI modalities in collaboration with product, engineering, and research teams.
• Deliver high-impact, customer-facing presentations to executives and internal stakeholders.
• Align cross-functional teams on research areas, product fit, and strategic customers for incubation priorities.

Requirements

Minimum

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in design and user experience-related fields.
• Strong eye for design and storytelling with excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
• High proficiency in design and presentation applications (Figma, Adobe Suite, Google Slides, Keynote, etc.).
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and fast-paced environments.

Preferred

• Experience with Agentforce and AI technologies.
• Familiarity with Salesforce products, enterprise use cases, and creating Salesforce applications or demos.
• Curiosity and experience leveraging AI-powered generative tools (Stable Diffusion, ComfyUI, generative image/video/sound tools).
• Front-end development and Vibe Coding skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) are a strong plus.
• Motion and animation skills (Aftereffects, Motion) are a strong plus.
• Proven track record delivering high-impact visions.

Compensation and Benefits

• Typical base salary range: $114,200 - $172,800 annually.
• In select San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas: $137,100 - $188,600 annually.
