Role
You will join the AI Factory in the Office of the CTO to help build and operate Allianz’s AI delivery engine. Embedded in the Factory team, you’ll contribute to operational infrastructure, ship live AI use cases, and support the lifecycle from scoping to delivery. This is a 6-month, full-time internship with immediate start and the option for a subsequent working student position.
Key Responsibilities
- AI Delivery Factory Build: contribute to operational infrastructure, processes, and coordination frameworks; take ownership of sub-projects end-to-end.
- Use Case Scoping Squad Work: translate business challenges into structured solution designs; contribute to prompt engineering, agent documentation, and solution scoping.
- Stakeholder Coordination: connect business-unit stakeholders with technical delivery teams; prepare decision papers, stakeholder communications, and delivery documentation.
- Strategic Exposure: gain insight into AI governance and deployment at scale, with visibility into CTO-level decisions and strategic technology partnerships.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a university (required for internship) or a gap year for internship applicants; working-student eligibility requires continued enrollment.
- Available to start immediately for a 6-month full-time internship.
- Hands-on experience in consulting, product management, or structured problem-solving through internships, case competitions, or independent projects.
- Advanced studies in Business Administration, Business Informatics, STEM, or similar, with above-average academic performance.
- Knowledge of AI technologies, vibe coding, principles, and practical use; familiarity with prompt engineering and agentic frameworks is relevant.
- Excellent content preparation and visualization skills.
- Business-fluent English; German fluency is beneficial.
- Self-directed, structured, accountable, and comfortable interacting with senior management.
- Valid work and residence permit for non-EU citizens; certificate of enrolment required (exceptions for gap year).
