Role
A part-time remote iOS SwiftUI developer to refine an existing MVP and ship a polished App Store product. The role emphasizes UI/design quality, frontend implementation from Figma, backend debugging, API integration, and handling Apple ecosystem constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize iOS features including pulling and analyzing usage data.
- Integrate REST API calls and handle JSON parsing and authorization flows.
- Implement real-time notifications and user-defined trigger systems.
- Design user flows: data tracking → API integration → database storage → notification systems.
- Produce a Figma file from existing wireframes and implement a fully functional frontend.
- Work with or rebuild parts of an existing codebase written in “Claude code.”
Requirements
- Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
- Strong UI styling skills with a portfolio demonstrating good taste and finished App Store apps.
- Experience with iOS app development, Apple APIs, and extension development.
- Ability to create or understand REST APIs (Python or similar).
- Experience with backend services such as Firebase or Supabase.
- Familiarity with Apple ecosystem constraints, authorization, and JSON data parsing.
Preferred
- Experience with Stripe and Link payment integration.
- Cloud hosting familiarity is a plus.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour.
- Engagement: hourly or project-bid preferred; flexible remote hours, minimum 10 hours/week; 1-month minimum, extendable based on performance.
