Role
We are seeking a reliable IT Assistant to support day-to-day technology needs across the organization. The role focuses on hands-on hardware support, troubleshooting user issues, account and asset management, and building simple internal tools or automations using low-code and AI-assisted platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and deploy user workstations (desktops, laptops, peripherals)
- Install and troubleshoot printers, network devices, and related hardware
- Provide general IT support for users (hardware, software, connectivity, and access issues)
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup and permissions
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper asset tracking
- Use modern low-code / AI-assisted development tools (“vibe coding” platforms) to create simple internal tools, automations, or workflow improvements
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process optimization through technology
- Research and implement solutions as needed and learn new tools on the fly
Requirements
- Solid understanding of general IT concepts (Windows OS, networking basics, hardware components)
- Experience setting up and troubleshooting PCs, printers, and common office technology
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Comfort learning new tools and technologies quickly
- Basic understanding of programming logic (variables, conditionals, loops, data flow) is highly preferred
- Familiarity with any scripting or programming language is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to assist non-technical users
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: From $24.00 per hour
