About the Role
Internship position for a UX Researcher-Designer supporting UX research, design, and prototyping for AI-enabled chatbots and dashboards within IT Marketing & Sales. Work closely with designers, researchers, product partners, and engineers at the Ridgefield, CT facility to gain hands-on experience across research, design, and implementation phases.

Role
IT Co-op UX Researcher-Designer (Intern) supporting the IT Marketing & Sales, Data Driven Customer Insights team. The intern will assist with UX research and design activities, create low- to mid-fidelity prototypes, and help evaluate AI-enabled experiences for sales consultants on the Veeva platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, conducting, and synthesizing user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing).
- Translate research insights into wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for chatbots, dashboards, and digital interfaces.
- Collaborate with designers, researchers, product partners, and engineers to define user needs and experience goals.
- Create and iterate on low- to mid-fidelity prototypes and participate in usability testing and feedback sessions.
- Support connecting research and design work to UX metrics (usability, adoption, efficiency, satisfaction).
- Apply UX best practices and design standards to improve consistency and usability.
- Gain experience designing and evaluating AI-enabled user experiences for Sales consultants within the Veeva platform.
Requirements
- Must be a current undergraduate, graduate, or advanced degree student enrolled at an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship/co-op.
- Undergraduate students: at least 12 credit hours completed at current institution; Graduate/advanced degree students: at least 9 credit hours completed.
- Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Desired Skills & Tools
- Foundational understanding of UX research methods and user-centered design principles.
- Comfortable designing basic UI screens and workflows, with an interest in AI-driven experiences such as chatbots and dashboards.
- Familiarity with design and research tools such as Figma, Dovetail, Lovable, Klaxoon, or similar tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Curiosity about AI design tools, conversational UX, and light front-end or vibe coding.
