IT Founder: Skilled Full Stack Developer - Partner

Role

Higher Solutions is hiring an IT Founder / Full Stack Developer (Partner) to co-develop an automation and efficiency management platform. The position involves hands-on design and implementation of front-end interfaces, back-end services, databases, and deployment pipelines while collaborating with marketing, lead generation, and cross-functional teams. This is an equity-based cofounder role with opportunities to transition to a paid full-time position and grow into management.

Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive front-end interfaces using modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and ensure cross-browser/device performance.
• Develop RESTful APIs and server-side logic using Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, .NET, or similar languages; implement authentication/authorization and business logic.
• Design and maintain relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis); optimize queries and ensure data integrity and security.
• Participate in CI/CD and deployment workflows using tools such as Docker, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Kubernetes; manage cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Conduct security testing (including AI security), write unit/integration tests, perform code reviews, and maintain code quality.
• Work within Agile/Scrum processes, manage backlogs, attend stand-ups and retrospectives, and collaborate with QA, Product Managers, Designers, and leadership.
• Use vibe coding tools, templates, and Figma to move designs through implementation and lead design-to-production projects.
• Assist with release scheduling, component reviews, and work authorizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience (posting also lists 5 years required in experience section).
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong experience with front-end frameworks: React, Vue, or Angular.
• Back-end experience with one or more: Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, Ruby, or .NET.
• Experience with version control (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and API documentation tools (Swagger).
• Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies (Jest, Mocha, Postman, Selenium).
• Understanding of application security best practices (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and AI security considerations.
• Experience or strong interest in RPA, automation, and AI development.
• Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Mobile development experience (React Native, Flutter).
• Background in SaaS, marketing, fintech, e-commerce, or cybersecurity.
• Experience with Agile tools like JIRA and Confluence.

• Excellent communication and teamwork; ability to work independently.
• Adaptability to fast-paced startup environments and responsibility for activity tracking and reporting.

Compensation & Commitment

• Equity-based cofounder role with the expectation of investing between $5,000 and $50,000 toward development/fundraising.
• Pay listed: up to $110,000 per year (converted estimate shown in posting).
• Job types: Part-time, Contract; remote work.
