Role
IT Project Manager (WMS) responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering Warehouse Management System projects from initial analysis through production go-live. Act as the primary interface between customers, operations and engineering to ensure business requirements are translated into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate the roll-out of WMS solutions at customer sites; manage projects from analysis to go-live.
- Serve as interface between customers, operations teams and engineering; translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Analyze warehouse and fulfillment processes, identify optimization opportunities and design scalable digital workflows.
- Coordinate technical implementations, integrations and interfaces involving WMS, ERP and fulfillment systems.
- Act as central customer contact throughout the project lifecycle and moderate stakeholder meetings.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes, establishing pragmatic solutions for daily operations.
Requirements
- Experience in IT project management, ideally in warehouse management, logistics or fulfillment.
- Understanding of logistics processes such as goods receipt, picking, shipping and warehouse control.
- Technical understanding of software projects, APIs and system integrations.
- Experience with WMS, ERP or other operational software systems.
- Ability to capture and implement complex requirements in a structured way.
- Strong communication skills and confident customer-facing presence.
- Self-driven, solution-oriented work style with high organizational skills and pragmatic thinking.
- Interest in modern technologies and AI-assisted workflows.
- Desirable: experience with Vibe Coding.
- Good German or English language skills, written and spoken.
