Senior Quality Assurance Analyst responsible for leading QA strategy and test automation for Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and integrated enterprise platforms. The role combines hands-on automation work with cross-functional collaboration to ensure scalable, reliable Salesforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead QA efforts for Salesforce platforms, defining and executing end-to-end test strategies for configurations, customizations, workflows, validations, and integrations.
- Apply risk-based, business-process-driven testing aligned to CRM, sales operations, marketing, and customer service use cases.
- Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca (model-based automation, Vision AI, API testing) or Playwright (code-based UI automation).
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate development of Playwright automation while maintaining code quality and maintainability.
- Validate Salesforce integrations with API testing (REST/SOAP), middleware, and downstream systems; ensure end-to-end test coverage across integrated platforms.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (examples: Flosum, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) to enable unattended and parallel execution, reporting, and quality gates.
- Drive test data strategies, defect triage, root cause analysis, and communicate release readiness and quality insights to stakeholders.
- Coach teams on Salesforce QA best practices, automation standards, and promote consistency and reusability across test assets.
Requirements
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
- 4+ years of hands-on QA experience with strong focus on Salesforce (SFDC) platforms.
- Proven experience testing Salesforce business processes (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CRM workflows).
- Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca or Playwright for test automation.
- Strong understanding of automation framework design, test stability, and maintainability.
- Experience with API and integration testing (REST/SOAP).
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Experience with JIRA and test management tools such as ALM Quality Center or qTest.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred
- Salesforce certifications or formal Salesforce training (Admin, Platform App Builder, or equivalent).
- Experience testing Salesforce integrations with ERP, e-commerce, or middleware platforms.
- Tosca certifications (AS2, AE2, TDS1/TDS2).
- Experience optimizing Playwright test suites for performance and parallel execution.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted / “vibe coding” techniques using tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor.
- Knowledge of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service domains.
