Role
Senior Quality Assurance Analyst responsible for leading QA strategy and test automation for Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and integrated enterprise platforms. The role focuses on designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks (Tricentis Tosca or Playwright), validating integrations via API testing, and ensuring release quality through CI/CD and Agile collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead QA strategy for Salesforce configurations, customizations, workflows, validations, and integrations.
- Define and execute end-to-end, risk-based, business-process-driven test plans aligned to CRM, sales, marketing, and customer service use cases.
- Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca (including model-based automation, Vision AI, API testing) or Playwright (code-based UI automation).
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate Playwright automation while ensuring maintainability and code quality.
- Validate Salesforce integrations using API testing (REST/SOAP), middleware, and downstream systems; ensure end-to-end coverage across platforms.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Flosum, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) for unattended and parallel execution with actionable reporting.
- Establish and enforce quality gates for releases and participate in Agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
- Drive test data strategy, lead defect triage and root cause analysis, and communicate release readiness to stakeholders.
- Coach teams on QA best practices, automation standards, and scalable test design to promote reusability and maintainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- 4+ years hands-on QA experience with a strong focus on Salesforce (SFDC) platforms.
- Proven experience testing Salesforce business processes (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CRM workflows).
- Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca or Playwright for test automation.
- Strong understanding of automation framework design, test stability, and maintainability.
- Experience with API and integration testing (REST/SOAP).
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Experience with JIRA and test management tools such as ALM Quality Center or qTest.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications or formal Salesforce training (Admin, Platform App Builder, or equivalent).
- Tosca certifications (AS2, AE2, TDS1/TDS2) and experience optimizing Playwright suites for performance and parallel execution.
- Experience testing Salesforce integrations with ERP, e-commerce, or middleware platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development techniques for accelerating Playwright automation scripts (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor).
- Domain knowledge of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service.
