Role
Openkyber is hiring a Java Full Stack Engineer to design and build scalable, event-driven microservices and full-stack applications using Java and Python, working with big data platforms, Azure cloud services, frontend React, and AI-enabled “Vibe Coding”.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement APIs and event-driven architectures and microservices using Core Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Azure Functions.
- Work with big data technologies such as Databricks, Spark SQL, and PySpark, and implement streaming solutions with Kafka/Kafka Streams.
- Build frontend components with JavaScript and React and integrate them with backend services.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments using Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD.
- Monitor and operate systems using Grafana, New Relic, or similar monitoring tools.
- Collaborate on system design, API design, and cloud-based architecture leveraging Azure and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java (Core Java 8+) and backend frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Experience with Python and PySpark for big data processing.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Spark SQL.
- Experience with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms (Kafka Streams mentioned).
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Frontend development experience using JavaScript and React.
- Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and deployment tools: Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, ArgoCD.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana and New Relic.
- Comfortable working within event-driven architectures and microservices.
