Role
The Senior Technical Lead will oversee and lead the technical aspects of DevOps solutions, AWS architecture, and Java applications. The role requires designing, implementing, and optimizing technical solutions to meet business requirements and ensuring system reliability and scalability in an AWS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and implementation of DevOps solutions, AWS architecture, and Java applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of DevOps practices and AWS services.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on DevOps and AWS best practices.
- Evaluate existing systems and processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement upgrades.
- Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and scalability in AWS.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to DevOps and Java applications and provide timely resolution.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in DevOps, AWS, and Java development.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java and Java EE (JEE) development.
- Proven expertise in AWS and cloud architecture (EC2, S3, etc.).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools such as Terraform.
- Containerization and orchestration experience (Docker).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and build tools like Maven.
- Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
- Familiarity with Node.js, npm, JavaScript, and TypeScript for related services.
- Frontend framework experience (Angular, AngularJS) and RESTful service design.
- Proficiency with Git and integration/messaging frameworks like Apache Camel.
- Test and QA tooling exposure (Karma, Playwright, ViTest).
- Experience with frameworks such as NestJS.
- Familiarity or willingness to use AI-assisted coding tools and vibe/spec; AWS Kiro preferred.
