Role

Senior MERN + Mobile Developer responsible for building responsive, high‑performance web and mobile applications and designing/developing scalable Node.js/Express REST APIs. The role emphasizes collaboration with product, design, QA and DevOps teams, clean code, and reliable delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Develop user-facing features using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Build reusable front-end components and ensure responsive UI across devices and browsers.
Implement state management patterns (Redux / Context API) and optimize component performance.
Design and implement scalable Node.js services and Express REST APIs.
Implement secure authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth concepts) and integrate with MongoDB and external APIs.
Ensure API performance, error handling, logging and reliability.
Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and collaborate via Git-based workflows.
Work with event-driven architectures (Kafka) and follow CI/CD / DevOps practices.

Requirements

5–8 years of relevant experience.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and core React.js principles (hooks, component lifecycle).
Hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js, building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Experience with MongoDB and basic schema design.
Familiarity with state management (Redux / Flux / Context API).
Knowledge of authentication/authorization mechanisms (JWT; OAuth familiarity preferred).
Familiarity with front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, npm).

Preferred / Good to Have

TypeScript experience.
Cloud exposure to AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB) and/or serverless patterns.
CI/CD familiarity and basic DevOps understanding.
Experience with microservices and event-driven design (Kafka).
Domain exposure (e.g., healthcare) is a plus.
Exposure to AI-assisted / “vibe” development is preferred.

Location: Kochi (also notes: Any Elevance approved offshore location).
