Lead Technical Product Owner to drive development of agentic harnesses, tooling, and marketplaces that enable Solution Engineers and Builders to deliver customer value faster. Own multi-month initiatives, align roadmap and technical investments, and act as the primary technical product voice across Strategy, Research, Engineering, and Operations.

Role
Lead Technical Product Owner responsible for owning and delivering in-house agentic harness development for Solution Engineers (SEs) and Builders. The role focuses on agentic platforms, marketplaces, tooling, and assets (skills, agents, MCPs), representing field needs, and owning multi-month, cross-portfolio initiatives as an individual contributor.
Key Responsibilities
- Define strategic vision and roadmap for agentic harnesses and related tooling.
- Partner with AI Strategists to evaluate and prioritize AI tools, skills, and agents; act as Product Owner for build vs. buy decisions.
- Influence roadmap prioritization and ensure alignment across business units and enterprise roadmaps.
- Build cross-functional relationships to drive strategy execution and sustain long-term alignment with Product, Solutions & Builders, Platform, and Tooling teams.
- Translate complex AI concepts (LLMs, prompt engineering) into clear business value for executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Coordinate release trains and manage AI dependencies across multiple teams.
- Define enterprise-level backlog management standards and model prioritization practices for other Product Owners.
- Assess infrastructure and investment needs to keep agentic environments scalable and cutting-edge.
Requirements
Basic Requirements
- Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in Product Ownership, Solution Engineering, or Product Management.
- Technical knowledge of Salesforce AI capabilities, including Agentforce and Slackbot, and familiarity with Data 360.
- Experience acting as a Product Owner in a scaled Agile environment with proven backlog prioritization and delivery of high-value increments.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills; ability to establish enterprise-wide communication standards.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional technical initiatives or portfolio-level backlog management.
- Prior experience as a Solution Engineer (SE) or Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) in a pre-sales environment.
- Experience building or managing LLM prompts and grounding strategies.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications (Agentforce Specialist and/or Data 360 Consultant).
- Scrum certification such as CSPO or CSM.
