Lead the design, development, and delivery of immersive XR (AR/VR/Metaverse) training programs to accelerate adoption of spatial technologies across the organization. Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to create XR simulations, curricula, facilitator guides and hands-on training while integrating generative AI capabilities into enterprise workflows.

Role
Lead the Innovation Lab’s learning and training assets delivery for MAVA (Metaverse, Augmented & Virtual Reality, Applications). Design, develop, and scale immersive training programs, XR simulations, demos, and learning experiences that drive adoption, proficiency, and sustained usage of AR/VR/XR solutions across the organization and with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver immersive training experiences (VR modules, scenario-based experiences, AR tutorials, spatial walkthroughs).
- Build scalable learning programs, facilitator guides, quick-start manuals, and user playbooks for self-paced and instructor-led training.
- Deliver training sessions virtually, in-person, and within immersive environments; run train-the-trainer programs.
- Drive change management, readiness, and behavioral adoption by embedding training into launch plans and stakeholder engagements.
- Plan and manage XR hardware/software logistics: inventory, device configuration, distribution, troubleshooting, onsite support, setup and teardown.
- Conduct learning needs analyses and measure training effectiveness using surveys, behavioral data, adoption metrics, and feedback; iterate on programs.
- Manage multiple development workstreams and coordinate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, vendors, and XR partners.
- Maintain centralized content access (online learning hub/intranet) to support reuse and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in L&D, business, education, technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience designing and delivering adult learning programs, including immersive or XR-enhanced training.
- Demonstrated ability to develop training that drives adoption of emerging technologies (preferably AR/VR/XR or spatial applications).
- Expertise in adult learning principles, instructional frameworks, blended/immersive curriculum development, and facilitation of live and virtual sessions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience using data to optimize learning outcomes.
- Project and program management experience; comfortable working in innovation or start-up-like environments.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Learning Management Systems.
Preferred / Nice-to-have
- Practical understanding of Generative AI, in-context prompting, and integrating AI capabilities into enterprise workflows (examples mentioned: MS Co-Pilot, AWS Bedrock, Gemini Studio).
- Experience planning, deploying, and supporting XR hardware and software across classrooms, events, field sites, client environments, and enterprise workplaces.
- Familiarity with XR device ecosystems and device management (examples: Meta Quest, HTC Vive, Apple Vision Pro).
- Prior experience partnering with external vendors to deliver immersive training.
Location & Working Arrangement
Position is based in Hyderabad (Novartis site). This is a hybrid role with a mandatory 3 days per week onsite requirement.

Role sits within the US Innovation Lab (iLab) under Marketing Technology Product Management inside the Integrated Marketing Organization. The team focuses on accelerating emerging technologies and integrating immersive solutions into business workflows.
