Role
The Marketing Operations Specialist is a hands-on digital channel generalist responsible for end-to-end delivery of marketing across email, automation, social publishing, CRM, and integration platforms. This role is the primary owner of CreativeOne’s advisor-facing platforms (EngageOne / Snappy Kraken and Levitate) and supports cross-channel execution, vendor relationships, and process documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own advisor platform management: onboarding, support, ticket resolution, content scheduling, roster maintenance, and compliance oversight for advisor-facing platforms.
- Build, send, and test marketing emails in HubSpot following templates and brand guidelines; support A/B testing and segmentation.
- Configure and maintain marketing automation workflows in HubSpot and GoHighLevel; own assigned workflows end-to-end.
- Build, monitor, and troubleshoot Zapier integrations; escalate systemic issues and follow documentation standards.
- Schedule and deploy social content (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) and maintain publishing calendars across advisor and brand accounts.
- Serve as day-to-day contact for platform vendors (Snappy Kraken, Levitate); coordinate feature requests and platform issues.
- Maintain and update SOPs and visual walkthroughs (using Scribe) for owned processes.
- Use AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) for everyday marketing workflows and to build lightweight, developer-free marketing tools and mini-apps.
- Track and report performance metrics across owned channels, pull standard reports, and flag anomalies.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, GoHighLevel, ActiveCampaign, or comparable).
- Strong understanding of email marketing fundamentals: deliverability, segmentation, workflows, A/B testing, and performance metrics.
- Ability to configure automation workflows and understand trigger/action/condition logic.
- Experience with Zapier or similar integration tools; ability to monitor and troubleshoot integrations.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
- Professional and responsive demeanor when interacting with advisors and vendors.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) in a professional/project context and ability to use AI-assisted development (vibe coding) to build functional marketing tools; strong prompting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing operations, email marketing, or marketing automation.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation/CRM platform.
- Experience managing a vendor-provided or white-labeled program and client-facing marketing platforms.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, or ClickUp.
- BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Experience in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries is a plus.
