Role
As a Member of Technical Staff on the AI Experience team, you will help design and build next-generation, AI-first EHR capabilities. You will develop complex distributed and cloud-scale services, front-end interfaces, and APIs, and use AI-assisted coding and vibe coding practices to accelerate development and improve code quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and maintain key EHR platform components, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
- Accelerate development and time-to-market by integrating AI-assisted coding capabilities (e.g., Codex, Claude, Cline, ChatGPT) into workflows.
- Introduce, promote, and improve AI-powered productivity enhancements and best practices across the engineering team.
- Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to deliver AI-powered features and exceptional user experiences.
- Work with technical leads to enforce architectural rigor, security, and maintainability throughout the product lifecycle.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging AI-assisted development methodologies and tooling.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one (preferably two) of: Java, C/C++, Golang.
- Demonstrated experience using AI-based IDEs and models (examples cited: Codex, Claude, Cline, ChatGPT) and integrating AI-assisted coding into development workflows.
- Experience leveraging MCP Tools/Servers and familiarity with multi-tool orchestration and skills-based frameworks.
- Strong understanding of core CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work across teams and present technical work to senior stakeholders.
- Enthusiasm for learning and adopting new tools and emerging technologies.
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes is a plus.
