Member of Technical Staff, Design & Frontend Engineer

Role

As a Design Engineer (Member of Technical Staff) you will own user experiences end-to-end — from product decisions and prototyping to frontend engineering and iteration based on real customer feedback. You will work directly with customers, influence product direction, and ship production-facing interfaces used by large AI companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ship full features independently: design, engineer, and iterate based on user feedback
• Work directly with customers to understand needs and validate solutions
• Influence product direction using design and technical insights
• Build visible product features that will be used by customers within days

Requirements

• Strong design sensibility and product intuition
• 3+ years building user-facing products with TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks
• Experience with React and frameworks like Next.js (or similar)
• Ability to communicate and validate ideas using tools such as Figma or vibe-coding platforms
• Customer empathy and high ownership of end-to-end problems

Nice-to-haves

• Open source contributions or public projects demonstrating craft
• Experience building AI products or developer tools
• Strong opinions on product experience and UX
