Mid Level - Vibe Coder (Full Stack)

Role

Mid-level Vibe Coder (Full Stack) contributing end-to-end to product development at a product design and engineering studio. Work on frontend applications and backend services, use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development, and participate in product and roadmap discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and ship high-quality frontend applications using Vite, ReactJS and NextJS, implementing responsive UIs and design-system components.
• Design and implement backend services with Node.js and Python, building scalable APIs and microservices that integrate with PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, Lovable.dev, AntiGravity) to accelerate development, automate repetitive tasks, generate prototypes, and improve code quality.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, QA and cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and release plans.
• Own feature implementation end-to-end: architecture, development, testing, deployment, monitoring and iterative improvement based on feedback and analytics.
• Write effective prompts for AI tools and produce high-quality documentation, code comments and README files.
• Participate in code reviews and help establish best practices for testing, CI/CD and observability.
• Contribute to product thinking: prioritize user value, estimate effort, propose trade-offs, and engage in roadmap discussions.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on professional software development experience (product or agency teams preferred).
• Proven frontend experience with Vite, ReactJS and NextJS, including SSR/ISR, routing, state management and performance optimization.
• Strong backend development skills with Node.js and Python (frameworks such as Express, Fastify, Flask or FastAPI).
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB (schema design, queries, indexing, migrations).
• Demonstrable use of AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, Lovable.dev, AntiGravity) to write/refactor code and generate tests or documentation.
• Good software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, system design basics, debugging and testable code.
• Comfortable with Git, code reviews and RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and clear prompt-writing ability.
• Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, Haryana, India and flexibility for hours beyond strict 9-5 when required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, WebSockets or real-time systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (AWS, GCP or Azure), containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, PyTest) and automated testing strategies.
• Knowledge of performance optimization, accessibility (a11y) and front-end security best practices.
• Prior exposure to product management, open-source contributions, or agency/client-facing experience.
