CapTech is hiring a MuleSoft Architect to design and deliver scalable MuleSoft integration solutions across the full SDLC. The role focuses on architecting API-driven integrations, advising clients, mentoring teams, and contributing to reusable architectural standards while working in Agile project environments.
Job Description
Role
As a MuleSoft Architect at CapTech you will design, develop, and deliver enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft across the full software development lifecycle. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, align technical solutions with business goals, and contribute to architectural standards and reusable accelerators.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and project teams to define and deliver MuleSoft-based technical solutions.
- Lead design and architecture activities for API-driven integrations, microservices, event-driven integrations, cloud deployments, and serverless components.
- Serve as technical advisor and manage architectural scope while aligning solutions to business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders; create deliverables that convey technical solutions to appropriate audiences.
- Mentor architects and developers through architecture reviews, communities of practice, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities including solution design, estimates, and delivery scoping.
- Advocate and contribute to architectural standards, best practices, and reusable accelerators.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Experience with MuleSoft 4.x and MuleSoft integrations at an architectural level.
- Experience creating Mule applications in Anypoint Studio and publishing APIs to Anypoint Exchange.
- Familiarity with RAML and API development using REST and/or SOAP.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns and experience integrating enterprise applications such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, and Oracle ERP.
- Familiarity with microservice architectures, design patterns, monitoring tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, and/or GCP is a plus.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL database technologies.
- Demonstrated enterprise security practices.
- Experience working with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Mistral) in production, including prompt engineering, MCP and RAG, agentic AI architectures, and conversational UX.
- Experience with agentic frameworks and tools such as langchain, n8n, and pydantic, and familiarity with vibe coding and multi-agent systems.

- The role is project/consulting oriented and involves exposure to multiple clients and industry verticals.
