Role
CapTech is hiring a MuleSoft Architect to design, develop, and deliver enterprise integration solutions. The role focuses on architecture and implementation of MuleSoft-based integrations, API design and publication, and advising clients across the full Software Development Lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and project teams to design and deliver MuleSoft solutions aligned with business goals.
- Deliver scalable integrations and APIs across the full SDLC using Agile methodologies.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor and manage architectural scope.
- Communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Produce quality deliverables and participate in architecture reviews and communities of practice.
- Mentor architects and developers and contribute to architectural standards and reusable accelerators.
- Support technical pre-sales activities including solution design, estimations, and delivery scoping.
- Gain exposure to varied clients, business models, and industry verticals.
Requirements
- Experience with MuleSoft 4.x at an architectural level and project experience with MuleSoft integrations.
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Extensive knowledge of integration patterns and ability to create Mule applications in Anypoint Studio.
- Experience designing APIs and publishing to Anypoint Exchange; familiarity with RAML.
- Applied knowledge of API development using REST and/or SOAP.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, and Oracle ERP.
- Familiarity with microservice architectures, design patterns, monitoring tools, and serverless/event-driven integrations.
- Experience with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP) is a plus.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and with CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated enterprise security practices.
- Experience working with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Mistral) in production, including prompt engineering, MCP and RAG, agentic AI architectures, and agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, n8n, pydantic).
- Experience with conversational UX, prompt evaluation metrics, vibe coding, and multi-agent systems.

- Participation in technical pre-sales and solution scoping.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
