CapTech is hiring a MuleSoft Architect to design and deliver enterprise integration solutions across the full software development lifecycle. The role focuses on MuleSoft 4.x architecture, API design, integrations with enterprise systems, and leading technical strategy and delivery for client projects.
Job Description
Role
CapTech is seeking a MuleSoft Architect to design, develop, and deliver enterprise integration and API-driven solutions for client engagements. The architect will work across the full SDLC in an Agile environment, act as a trusted technical advisor, contribute to architectural standards, and mentor peers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and teams to deliver scalable MuleSoft solutions tailored to client needs.
- Lead architecture and solution design across integrations, APIs, microservices, and cloud deployments.
- Serve as a technical advisor, align technical solutions with business goals, and set expectations with stakeholders.
- Produce quality deliverables that communicate technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to architectural standards, best practices, reusable accelerators, and communities of practice.
- Mentor architects and developers via architecture reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in technical pre-sales: solution design, estimation, and delivery scoping.
Requirements
- Experience with MuleSoft 4.x and MuleSoft integrations at an architectural level.
- Project experience creating Mule applications in Anypoint Studio and publishing APIs to Anypoint Exchange.
- Familiarity designing APIs in RAML; applied API development experience using REST and/or SOAP.
- Extensive knowledge of integration patterns and experience integrating enterprise apps (Salesforce, SAP, Workday, Oracle ERP).
- Experience with microservice architectures, design patterns, monitoring tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP) is a plus.
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Demonstrated enterprise security practices.
- Experience with LLMs in production (e.g., GPT, Claude, Mistral), prompt engineering, MCP and RAG, conversational UX, prompt evaluation metrics, agentic AI architectures, and multi-agent/vibe coding approaches.
- Experience with agentic frameworks in practice (langchain, n8n, pydantic, etc.).
