MuleSoft Architect at CapTech designs and deliver scalable enterprise integration and API-driven solutions using MuleSoft across the full SDLC. The role advises clients, leads technical architecture and standards, mentors teams, and supports pre-sales and delivery activities involving cloud, microservices, CI/CD and agentic AI integrations.

Role
CapTech is hiring a MuleSoft Architect to design, develop, and deliver enterprise integration and API-driven solutions. The architect will partner with clients and cross-functional teams to define technical architecture, ensure alignment with business goals, and produce quality deliverables across the full software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and project teams to deliver scalable MuleSoft solutions using Agile methodologies.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, managing architectural scope and aligning technical solutions with business objectives.
- Design APIs and integrations, create Mule applications in Anypoint Studio, and publish APIs to Anypoint Exchange.
- Contribute to architectural standards, best practices, reusable accelerators, and technical thought leadership.
- Mentor architects and developers through architecture reviews, communities of practice, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in technical pre-sales activities including solution design, estimations, and delivery scoping.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to set expectations and guide decision-making.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with MuleSoft 4.x and MuleSoft Integrations.
- Experience creating Mule applications in Anypoint Studio and publishing APIs to Anypoint Exchange.
- Familiarity with designing APIs in RAML and applied knowledge of API development using REST and/or SOAP.
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns and experience integrating enterprise applications (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Workday, Oracle ERP).
- Familiarity with microservice architectures, design patterns, event-driven integrations, and monitoring tools.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL database technologies and working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated enterprise security practices experience.
Preferred / Additional Qualifications
- Experience with cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
- Experience working with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Mistral) in production, prompt engineering, MCP and RAG, and agentic AI architectures.
- Experience with agentic frameworks and tools such as LangChain, n8n, and pydantic.
- Familiarity with conversational UX, prompt evaluation metrics, vibe coding, and multi-agent systems.
