Role
A full-time Postdoctoral Fellow position in the Department of GI Radiation Oncology to conduct laboratory-based research on novel devices to improve safety of ablative treatments (e.g., radiation therapy, thermal ablation) and/or development of cancer signatures derived from tumor physical attributes assessed via imaging or mechanical testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct hypothesis-driven laboratory and translational research related to device development, imaging analysis, and tumor mechanobiology.
- Design and execute experiments including mechanical testing and imaging studies; develop analytical and computational approaches to derive tumor signatures.
- Maintain compliance with institutional, federal, and state research policies and ethical standards.
- Prepare and publish research results and present findings at national and international conferences.
- Participate in grant and technical writing as part of professional development.

Eligibility / Requirements

Position Information
- Salary range: $64,000 to $76,000 (depending on years of postgraduate experience).
- Offsite work arrangements are subject to approval and may be modified or revoked based on business needs, performance, or regulatory requirements.
