Praktikant/Werkstudent Vibe Coding for AI Security (d/m/w/x)
Explicitly centered on vibe coding: rapid prototyping with AI-coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) and prompt-driven AI workflows.
About the Role
Internship / working student role to develop fast software prototypes and internal tools using AI-coding assistants, with a focus on AI security, rapid prototyping, and supporting AI governance and red-teaming workflows. The role involves researching and evaluating AI development tools, creating project configuration files for AI agents, and integrating data sources within an agile team.
Job Description
Role
You will work as an intern/working student on rapid software prototyping and internal tooling using modern AI-coding technologies. The position focuses on using AI-coding assistants to build functioning prototypes, MVPs and automation solutions quickly, and on supporting the team’s work in AI Red Teaming, AI Governance and securing AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop fast prototypes, MVPs and automation solutions using AI-coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
- Research, test and evaluate new tools, frameworks and open-source projects for AI-assisted software development and recommend their integration into workflows.
- Create and maintain project configuration artifacts (e.g., SKILL.md, ARCHITECTURE.md) to provide context for AI agents and ensure reproducible, high-quality results.
- Design solution approaches, integrate data from multiple sources and test outcomes to improve results.
- Collaborate within an agile team and ensure the team has appropriate tooling for AI security tasks.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a comparable field.
- Solid programming skills in at least one language (examples given: Python, TypeScript, JavaScript) and confident use of Git and GitHub.
- Active use of AI-coding assistants like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code (study projects, side projects or similar).
- Knowledge of prompting LLMs to achieve useful results (prompt engineering).
- Initial exposure to SKILL.md files, MCP servers, agent frameworks or orchestration of AI workflows is a plus; willingness to learn deeply in these areas.
- Basic interest in AI Security; deep prior knowledge is not required.
- Interest in rapid prototyping, AI-assisted development workflows and interdisciplinary tasks.
- Analytical thinking, quick comprehension and strong communication skills for independent work.
- Routine use of office tools (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Very good German and English language skills, written and spoken.
