Pre-Sales Solution Architect (AI)

Role

F5 is hiring a senior Pre-Sales AI Solutions Architect for the North and Western Europe region to support sales of F5 technology in the context of AI Data Center Infrastructures and AI applications. The role focuses on discovering strategic opportunities, positioning F5 solutions for AI application delivery and security, and acting as a trusted technical advisor to customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with AI sales to discover opportunities and identify appropriate F5 solutions for customer business needs.
• Position and advocate F5 technology for AI application delivery and security across industries.
• Act as an evangelist and thought leader in AI technology and business, including public-facing content such as whitepapers, blogs, presentations, and event speaking.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Management, Product Engineering, Marketing, and Services to share customer feedback and influence product design and launches.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to the Solution Engineering community.

How You’ll Do It / Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as an evangelist, thought leader, and mentor in AI.
• Liaison experience between Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Product Engineering.
• Practical experience with AI best practices, AI application architectures and components (including LLMs, orchestrators, agents), and AI infrastructure/data center designs.
• Knowledge of AI app security challenges and storage architectures for AI training, fine-tuning, and inference. NVIDIA reference architectures preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud-native design patterns (Kubernetes, APIs, microservices, service mesh) and business outcome-focused architecture and operations.
• Advanced use of AI tools (chatbots, agents) for search, analysis, generation, and automation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related industry experience.
• Deep knowledge of F5 solutions.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to executives and business leaders and deliver business-driven solution demonstrations.
• Experience speaking at events and producing technical content (whitepapers, blogs, etc.).
• BS/BA or equivalent experience; relevant certifications are a plus.
