Role
Principal-level architect and hands-on engineer responsible for the systems architecture and day-to-day development of Supermetrics’ marketing website. Set technical direction for platform, stack, infrastructure, and performance while delivering production-quality code and solutions that drive pipeline and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Own systems architecture for the marketing website: platform, stack, infrastructure, and performance
- Make authoritative technical decisions and work daily in the codebase
- Design technical foundation for experimentation and personalization at scale (A/B testing frameworks, personalization middleware, rapid iteration pipelines)
- Architect Sanity content infrastructure for a “Create Once, Publish Everywhere” workflow, including content models and ingestion pipelines
- Own website data layer, event architecture, tracking standards, Core Web Vitals, uptime, and technical SEO/AI visibility
- Prototype and deploy AI-driven features (personalization, dynamic content, intelligent search) using AI tooling as a default
- Provide technical oversight of external agencies and contractors; enforce PR standards and CI/CD pipelines
- Present data-backed recommendations to senior stakeholders and mentor colleagues
Requirements
- 12+ years of web development experience, with at least 5 years at senior or principal level in B2B SaaS
- Practical experience with Astro.js and Sanity; Next.js/TypeScript backgrounds considered with strong Sanity proficiency
- Proven track record guiding major web projects end-to-end with rigorous engineering workflows (version control, PR reviews, deployment pipelines, incident management)
- Experience designing experimentation and personalization platforms and scalable growth architectures
- Deep knowledge of technical SEO/AI visibility and analytics/tracking across GTM and platforms like HubSpot, Marketo, and Segment
- Regular use of AI development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) and experience shipping AI-driven site features
- Strong ability to communicate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
