The role combines classroom and virtual delivery, bespoke course design, client advisory and hands-on implementation support for SAFe at scale.

Role
Principal Learning Specialist/Trainer (Agile/lean) delivering Scaled Agile (SAFe) and AI-enabled learning, coaching and advisory services. Hybrid role based in London with classroom, virtual and blended delivery across client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Agile and Lean programmes across classroom, virtual and blended formats for audiences from foundation to experienced practitioners, coaches and leaders.
- Design and develop bespoke training courses to meet learner, client and business needs.
- Act as client advisor for SAFe offerings, identifying opportunities during and beyond learning delivery.
- Partner with Account Managers to identify client challenges and design SAFe-based solutions.
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with clients to implement SAFe practices (e.g., PI Planning, Lean Portfolio, Product Management) and increase maturity.
- Run experiential, hands-on sessions using simulations, workshops, real data and live problem-solving to ensure practical application.
- Teach Scaled Agile deeply (SAFe principles, value stream mapping, PI Planning, Lean Portfolio Management, Product Management) and cover scaling approaches including SAFe, LeSS and Nexus.
- Model and apply AI fluency across delivery: use AI for drafting/summarising, analysing flow data, designing scenarios, orchestrating AI live in facilitation, building prototypes and reusable AI agents, and defining responsible-AI standards and governance.
Requirements
- Relevant SAFe certification(s) (SPC or willingness to work towards ASPC/ASPC) and deep, hands-on SAFe expertise.
- Genuine, practical AI fluency: use AI in delivery, have built tools or agents, understand vibe coding, and can govern AI outputs responsibly in client contexts.
- Proven training, teaching or facilitation experience with adult/professional learners; ability to run experiential hands-on sessions.
- Credibility delivering coaching and advisory services (team and leadership coaching, workshop design, health checks, transformation advisory) beyond open-course teaching.
- Track record of thought leadership (publishing, speaking, webinars or external recognition).
- Excellent facilitation, influencing and stakeholder management skills; ability to read a room and influence without formal authority.
