About the Role

Lead product development for Build Agent on the Now Platform, driving end-to-end capabilities that convert natural language into secure, production-ready enterprise applications. Job Description

Role

Principal Product Manager for Build Agent on the Now Platform. Own end-to-end product capabilities for an autonomous development agent that turns natural language into code, tests, debugging, and deployments while ensuring enterprise-grade security, governance, and reliability. Work spans technical problem-solving, product strategy, and close engagement with developers and enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own feature and capability development for Build Agent: define requirements, acceptance criteria, success metrics, and release plans.
  • Translate customer and partner feedback into actionable product requirements and feature specifications.
  • Break down strategy into epics and user stories; manage backlog prioritization and coordinate sprint planning and releases.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with research, design, engineering, AI platform, and security/governance stakeholders to drive execution and manage dependencies.
  • Evaluate new model capabilities, plan experiments, and convert research insights into scalable product features.
  • Define product performance metrics for developer productivity, code quality, security compliance, and user satisfaction.
  • Engage customers through design partner programs and direct feedback sessions to validate assumptions and iterate on solutions.
  • Champion best practices for AI-assisted development tools including context engineering, autonomous debugging workflows, governance frameworks, and integration patterns.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, developer tools, or AI-powered products with a track record of shipping technical products.
  • Experience integrating AI into workflows or products, including prototyping and automation use cases.
  • Background working on developer tools or technical end-user products; familiarity with software development workflows and IDE integrations preferred.
  • Experience evaluating LLMs, AI agents, or generative AI solutions; knowledge of context engineering, search/RAG, autonomous agents, and AI reliability challenges.
  • Strong prioritization, trade-off decision-making, and ability to define and capture product requirements into executable roadmaps.
  • Proven ability to work in matrixed environments, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness to work hands-on with engineers and customers and iterate rapidly based on learnings.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base pay: $163,600 - $286,300 (location-dependent). Plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits.
  • Benefits include health plans, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) with company match, ESPP, matching donations, flexible time away, and family leave programs.
