Role
Principal Product Manager on an 18-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover) with a required May start date and high probability of becoming permanent. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, bridging strategic vision and hands‑on delivery to improve enterprise productivity through AI adoption and product development. Split time approximately 80% on client and new business development and 20% on people management and internal impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end consulting engagements and product development from strategy to delivery across industries, focusing on AI adoption, agentic development, and business transformation.
- Cultivate and manage client stakeholder relationships, translating between technical and business needs.
- Drive a product mindset and own the product development lifecycle using lean and agile approaches; identify, conceptualise, pilot, and validate new products and sustainable business models.
- Leverage data and AI to understand user needs, validate product performance, and demonstrate value.
- Lead pre-sales activities including proposals, pitches, and shaping engagements; educate clients and colleagues on service value.
- Support director-level product leadership: mentor and guide team members, create case studies and points of view, represent the company at industry events, and support product OKRs and internal process optimisation.
- Explore technical innovation opportunities and support go-to-market planning and revenue stream development.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience, including at least 4 years in client-facing roles (consultancy/agency experience).
- Proven experience managing teams and running multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience using a stack of GenAI tools for creating and vibe-coding product concepts and PoCs to deliver measurable productivity gains.
- Strong skills in business development, go-to-market strategy, and developing new revenue streams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to engage with C-suite executives.
- Strong interpersonal skills (active listening, persuasion, empathy) and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making pragmatic decisions.
- Varied industry experience preferred, with depth in Public Sector, Financial Services, or AI-related domains; UK Public Sector experience is beneficial.
