Principal Product Manager (Prisma Access)

Role

Principal Product Manager for Prisma Access responsible for defining and executing the SASE product strategy and roadmap with a focus on AI-era capabilities. This role owns the complete product lifecycle, architects AI-driven network security features, engages directly with top-tier customers on complex deployments, and partners closely with engineering, UX, sales, and customer success. Location: Santa Clara, CA (office-first with flexibility when needed).

Key Responsibilities

• Drive strategy and roadmap for Prisma SASE and manage the full product lifecycle from conception through post-release.
• Define, prioritize, and manage product requirements backlog; make trade-off decisions and develop business cases.
• Collaborate cross-functionally (Engineering, UX, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success) to deliver integrated solutions and GTM enablement.
• Capture and codify deployment intelligence from field engagements to inform the Prisma Access roadmap.
• Serve as hands-on technical escalation point for demanding customers and mission-critical deployments; translate field blockers into AI-driven product capabilities.
• Own product relationships for top-tier customers, providing deep-dive troubleshooting and architectural remediation.
• Define detailed technical requirements (L2–L7 network security, proxy, SASE protocols) and integrate AI/ML for policy, config, troubleshooting, and anomaly detection.
• Analyze market and competitive trends in network security and AI/ML; lead design partner programs to validate product ideas.
• Act as subject matter expert, mentor, and evangelist across technical domains within the portfolio.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s + ~12 years experience, Master’s + ~8 years, or PhD + ~5 years in product management, solution architecture, or technical marketing in enterprise networking, cloud security, SASE, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS.
• Proven success owning full product lifecycle and driving customer adoption.
• Strong consensus-building and alignment skills across demanding cross-functional and executive stakeholders.
• Experience in customer engagement and hands-on deployment/troubleshooting of large-scale SASE/ZTNA solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of networking, VPN/tunneling, and cloud networking solutions.
• Practical experience and strategic insight in Generative AI, Agentic AI, and operationalizing AI/ML for field problems.
• Experience utilizing Vibe coding and AI UX tools such as Polymet.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and data-driven product strategy experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and experience driving high-velocity releases using Agile methodologies.
