Product Designer, AI Experiences

Role

Product Designer, AI Experiences responsible for defining how AI agents appear and interact across Zoom AI Companion experiences. The designer will create scalable, trustworthy, and intuitive AI-powered solutions, set visual and interaction quality standards, and deliver end-to-end design from strategy to pixel-perfect execution.

Team

The role sits on Zoom’s AI team working closely with product, engineering, research, and accessibility to design agentic AI tools at scale that handle complex workflows and human-like reasoning.

Key Responsibilities

• Own design strategy and end-to-end execution for mission-critical AI experiences and agent interactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (PM, engineering, research, accessibility) to align product direction and deliver consistent, high-quality designs across surfaces.
• Deliver production-ready visuals, robust prototypes, and clear engineering specifications, primarily using Figma.
• Set and uphold high standards for visual and interaction design, including layout, spacing, motion, and micro-interactions.
• Use qualitative and quantitative data to guide design decisions and measure outcomes.
• Contribute to and maintain design systems and ensure design consistency across projects.

Requirements

• MS or equivalent experience with 4+ years in product design and a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered interaction design.
• Experience managing complex, cross-team projects across timezones and influencing stakeholders.
• Deep expertise in visual and interaction design with a passion for polish and detail.
• Exposure to prompting and vibe coding for design and prototyping; strong proficiency in Figma.
• Experience creating AI agents for enterprise products and familiarity with Zoom products (Zoom AI Companion, Zoom AI Studio, Admin Settings).
• Strong communication skills, systems thinking, and accessibility awareness.
• Fluent in Mandarin.

Compensation & Timeline

• Salary range listed in posting: Minimum $98,900.00; Maximum $228,700.00. Zoom considers base salary, bonus, and equity as part of total direct compensation and may apply location-based adjustments.
• Anticipated position close date: 02/04/26.
