Job Description
Role
Product Designer (AI Native UX) responsible for end-to-end UX across CloudZero’s web-based SaaS products. You’ll move rapidly from problem to concept to production-ready designs and prototypes, using AI tools as an accelerator and working closely with product and engineering to ship features.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user experiences: UX flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes.
- Produce polished, production-ready work in Figma, leveraging design systems (components, variables, tokens, patterns).
- Contribute to and evolve the design system for consistency and scalability.
- Use AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, and execution while applying strong product judgment.
- Rapidly prototype concepts through lightweight front-end builds and vibe coding to validate ideas quickly.
- Partner in a triad model with product managers and engineers to translate requirements into buildable designs.
- Incorporate feedback, data, and user insights into continuous iteration.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of product or UX design experience.
- Strong proficiency in Figma with experience creating scalable designs and design system artifacts.
- Solid understanding of UX fundamentals: flows, hierarchy, usability, and interaction design.
- Demonstrated ability to move from problem to concept to execution under collaborative direction.
- Active use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) as part of daily workflow and ability to articulate how AI supports product outcomes.
- Ability to rapidly create interactive prototypes or working demos; comfortable working with structured data (e.g., JSON).
Nice to Have
- Experience with SaaS or data-driven products.
- Familiarity with Storybook or developer workflows.
- Accessibility best practices knowledge.
- Basic front-end skills: HTML, CSS, light JavaScript or React.
