Role
We are hiring a Product Designer to work across product thinking, UX, and UI to design and ship real-world digital products. The role requires strong craft, independence, client-facing experience, and frequent use of AI tools to prototype and iterate quickly. Candidates must be based in Vancouver, BC and will work in a hybrid remote setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and ship products
- Create solutions that deliver measurable user and business value
- Lead client conversations, present and defend design decisions
- Define and adapt problem-solving processes across projects
- Design for agentic products (goal-oriented interfaces where the system carries out steps)
- Use AI tools to speed prototyping and iteration, balancing handcrafted work and pragmatic automation
- Mentor and provide feedback to junior designers
Requirements
- 5–6+ years of experience designing and shipping real-world digital products with a portfolio to demonstrate work and thinking
- Strong product thinking and fluency across UX and UI
- Comfortable conducting targeted, lightweight research and applying insights to design
- Experience leading client interactions and shaping briefs
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and structure problems into clear direction
- Strong communication skills to articulate design rationale to clients and engineers
- Daily use of AI tools (examples noted: Claude, Figma Make, Gemini) for rapid prototyping and iteration
- Experience designing AI-assisted products and understanding UX tradeoffs for LLM-driven interfaces
Nice-to-have
- Experience designing for LLM-powered interfaces (chat, copilots, background agents)
- Prototype creation using AI tools (vibe coding) and running ideation/testing without waiting for developers
- Willingness to question assumptions and adapt to different working styles

- Primarily an executor without experience setting design direction across a product line
- Limited experience designing for real product constraints (users, business needs, stakeholders)
- Unwillingness to work quickly, use AI, or make opinionated design decisions at scale
