Product Designer (User Growth/Tablet) - TikTok Design (San Jose)

Role

Design product experiences for TikTok Tablet, Web and related AR platforms with a focus on user growth and global markets. Work across platforms (tablet, web, AR) and tailor designs for local markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design for TikTok Tablet, Web and related AR platforms that target global users.
• Collaborate with product managers, researchers, UX writers, and engineers.
• Participate in all stages of product development: ideation, rapid prototyping, user flows, stakeholder feedback, iteration, and pixel-perfect delivery.
• Use data analysis and user research to inform design decisions and A/B testing.
• Continuously optimize and take ownership of the overall product experience.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in UX and UI design, with history of leading multiple design projects from strategy to launch.
• Familiarity with design systems for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
• Ability to iterate quickly and produce a wide range of design concepts.
• Open-minded, receptive to feedback, with strong communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to handle rapid change.
• Global product awareness and attention to international internet products.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years designing consumer-facing UX across mobile, tablet and web.
• Experience with A/B testing and data-driven design practices.
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across an organization.
• Familiarity with front-end programming and prototyping tools.
• Experience building AI agents and using Vibe Coding is a plus.
• Passion for TikTok and its community.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range in the selected city: $87,822 - $184,000 annually.
• Compensation may include discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
