Product designer

Role

WRITER is seeking a product designer to define the future of enterprise AI interfaces. You’ll own end-to-end design for core product features, bring strong visual and interaction craft to complex desktop experiences, contribute to the design system, and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for core product features from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Prototype and test solutions at varying fidelities to validate direction before development.
• Design and refine micro-interactions and transitions to create intuitive, polished experiences.
• Contribute to the evolution of the design system and decide when to push boundaries versus use patterns.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to influence product vision and gather feedback from customers and internal teams.
• Use user research and data to drive design decisions and produce engineering-ready specs.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a UX/UI or product designer with a track record of shipping impactful products.
• Strong visual design skills with attention to aesthetics, detail, and pixel-level craft.
• Solid interaction design skills, including micro-interactions and transitions.
• Experience designing for complex desktop/B2B SaaS products; AI/ML product experience is a plus.
• Ability to iterate quickly, use research and data to inform design, and produce engineering-ready deliverables.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across time zones; ability to work in hybrid hubs with PST overlap.
• A portfolio showcasing design process, craft, and shipped experiences.

Preferred / Bonus

• Experience transforming designs into coded prototypes (bonus: using Cursor).
• Comfortable navigating ambiguous product spaces and learning quickly in AI product contexts.
