About the Role
Ablefy is hiring a Product Designer/Builder to own end-to-end product outcomes at the intersection of design, product, and engineering. Job Description
Role
The Product Designer/Builder at ablefy bridges product, design, and engineering to compress feedback loops and ship end-to-end outcomes. The role starts with a stronger emphasis on product design and UX quality, and evolves into an independent Product Builder who runs discovery, designs experiences, prototypes in code, and works with engineers to finish production delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Run product discovery end-to-end and validate ideas before engineering sprints.
- Rapidly prototype concepts using AI-assisted “vibe coding” tools and test them with users.
- Drive prioritization and secure engineering buy-in by demonstrating working prototypes.
- Use AI to synthesize user feedback, market signals, and usage data into actionable product insights.
- Own UX quality for a product area, from information architecture and interaction design to high-fidelity execution in Figma or code.
- Directly build parts of the product in production and submit high-quality pull requests ready for shipping.
- Review release documentation and help communicate updates to customers and internal teams.
Requirements
- Mid to senior-level UX and product design experience with a portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end product thinking and shipped outcomes.
- Fluent in vibe coding and high-fidelity design in Figma; able to move between prototyping in code and refining details in a design tool.
- Strong understanding of design systems and consistent execution in production.
- Comfortable reading product metrics and translating data into design and product decisions.
- Solid user research practice (interviews, usability tests) and experience converting findings into concrete changes.
- Experience working closely with engineers and understanding how things are built.
- Ambition to grow into product management and engineering and to assume a full Product Builder role over time.
Nice-to-haves
- Background in SaaS, marketplace, creator economy, or EdTech products.
- Deeper frontend development experience (React or similar).
- German language skills.
Benefits
- 30 vacation days (paid time off).
- Competitive salary.
- Personal training & development budget: €1,500 per year.
- Individual coaching and further training opportunities.
- Free BVG ticket (public transport pass).
- Employee discounts at various companies.
- Pension program with company match up to 30% of employee contributions.
