Role
Crypto.com is hiring a Product Director for Banking Engagement to bridge trading and banking by turning idle cash into a high-engagement everyday banking experience. This leadership role owns strategy, roadmap, and North Star engagement KPIs for accounts, liquidity utility, onboarding, and everyday financial features, and drives a rapid experimentation culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the Banking segment strategy and roadmap for accounts, liquidity utility, and everyday finance features to maximize ROI.
- Own engagement-focused north-star metrics and ensure each launch improves MAU and daily banking utility.
- Establish and run high-frequency, data-driven experimentation (A/B testing) to optimize onboarding, activation, and retention.
- Promote AI-forward execution across PM and design teams, leveraging AI tools and vibe coding for rapid prototyping and process efficiency.
- Own end-to-end banking onboarding and customer experience to convert crypto-native users into banking-active users.
- Manage portfolio evolution from wallet utility to savings and cashflow orchestration features.
- Coordinate with Engineering, UX, and Legal/Compliance to deliver high-quality fintech products at pace.
- Coach and mentor a team of 2–3 PMs to instill customer obsession and data-driven practices.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of product leadership experience at high-growth consumer fintechs, neo-banks, or digital marketplaces; proven track record driving activation and engagement.
- Deep familiarity with experimentation and A/B testing, with the ability to find signal in noisy data.
- Strong customer-centric product design sensibility and experience solving UX-driven pain points.
- Excellent structured thinking and communication; able to translate multi-year vision into measurable milestones.
- Power-user of AI tools for prototyping and productivity; expects and enables team-level AI usage.
- Commercially astute with understanding of deposit retention, cross-selling, and financial metrics.
- Bonus: Knowledge of neo-banking and payments landscape across US and Europe, including payment rails and regulatory considerations.
