About the Role
Lead Product Designer responsible for shaping the visual identity and user experience across web and mobile while leading an in-house design team. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and the VP of Innovation to deliver cohesive, user-centered experiences and champion AI-powered design tools and workflows. This is a full-time, on-site role in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Monday–Friday.

Role
We are hiring a Lead Product Designer to drive visual identity and user experience across web and mobile products. You will lead and mentor a team of UI/UX and visual designers, align design strategy with business goals, and introduce AI-powered tools and workflows to improve creativity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of UI/UX and visual designers, setting strategic and executional standards.
- Collaborate with the VP of Innovation and cross-functional partners (Product, Engineering, Marketing) to align design strategy with brand and business objectives.
- Develop, evolve, and maintain design systems and guidelines for consistency across web and mobile.
- Produce high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and design concepts; ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
- Leverage AI-powered design and generative tools to accelerate ideation, create initial layouts, refine designs, and generate content or pattern suggestions.
- Implement and optimize AI workflows (e.g., ChatGPT for brainstorming and content; Figma Make for component/prototype generation).
- Partner with Product and Engineering to translate business goals and technical requirements into user-centered solutions.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging AI tools, and competitive insights to introduce innovative ideas.
Requirements
- 7+ years of UI/UX experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role overseeing designers.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design leadership, strategic thinking, and user-centered problem solving.
- Experience designing for web and mobile, including responsive and cross-platform considerations.
- Proficiency in Figma (including Figma Make and AI features), Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Proven experience using AI tools like ChatGPT for ideation, prototyping assistance, content generation, and documentation.
- Strong understanding of design systems, usability principles, and accessibility standards.
- Clear communication skills and experience collaborating across disciplines.
- Familiarity with user research, A/B testing, and iterative design methodologies.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in consumer-facing tech products.
- Working knowledge of front-end basics (HTML, CSS) to collaborate effectively with engineering.
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools that integrate design systems with AI triggers and actions.
Location & Hours
- Full-time, in-office position based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
- On-site Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $85,000 - $90,000 per year (DOE).
