Role
The Product Manager — Digital Banking will own product lifecycle management for consumer and business digital banking products, from market research and product definition to user experience, documentation, and delivery definition. The PM reports to the Senior Director of Product Management and works closely with engineering, design, sales, support, and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to define market opportunities and feature priorities, including compliance considerations (e.g., AML, KYC) and fraud/financial crime risks.
- Research and evaluate partner integrations (core banking, payment processors, PFM tools) for differentiation, customer experience, revenue potential, and speed to market.
- Define product rationale, value proposition, differentiation, and pricing models focused on client financial health, convenience, and security.
- Drive strategic planning, backlog grooming, roadmap definition, and feature prioritization.
- Act as an internal customer for engineering: perform internal UAT, feature sign-off, and coordinate delivery handoffs.
- Plan launches and support go-to-market activities, including sales enablement, training, demos, and market-facing collateral.
- Coordinate cross-functional development across Customer Support, Sales Development, Engineering, and QA to clarify requirements, scope, and delivery.
- Use rapid prototyping techniques and AI-driven tooling to achieve customer discovery and iterate on solutions.
Deliverables
- Product Requirements Documents (PRD) and Business Requirements Documents (BRD).
- Competitive analyses, product comparisons, and sales battle cards focused on digital banking.
- Prioritized feature backlog, user stories, and epics for digital banking journeys (authentication, money movement, etc.).
- UI/UX coordination and direction, support and delivery documentation, beta release plan, and launch materials.
- Business cases, pricing models, marketing sheets, sales collateral, product training materials, and product analytics/voice-of-customer outputs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; MBA or business master’s preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience, preferably in Banking/Finance/SaaS/mobile domains; B2B2C Fintech experience in the US preferred.
- Strong product management fundamentals: use cases, flowcharts, user journeys, and digital banking workflows.
- Proficiency with LLM-based AI tools and extensive use of AI-driven tooling across product activities is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication, ownership mindset, and bias for action.
- Experience with documentation and data analysis tools and a deep understanding of system design principles.
- Working knowledge of engineering methodologies, including Agile development and release management.
AI and Vibe Coding Usage
AI-driven tools are expected to be used extensively as thought partners, co-pilots, reviewers, and polishers for all PM deliverables. The role explicitly references Generative AI, custom AI agents, LLM-based tools, and “vibe coding” tools for rapid prototyping and customer discovery.
