Role
The Product Manager for Inara will define and drive the product vision and roadmap for an AI-powered patient education and engagement platform used in hospitals. This office-first role is based at FluidAI’s Kitchener HQ and focuses on scaling Inara into a production-grade product deployed across local and international hospitals.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the Inara product roadmap, defining features and milestones that deliver measurable value to patients and care teams.
- Write and maintain PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria to align engineering, design, and clinical teams.
- Manage project timelines, cross-functional dependencies, and delivery milestones across concurrent workstreams.
- Use AI-powered development tools (e.g., vibe coding, LLM-assisted workflows) to accelerate delivery and prototyping.
- Engage directly with hospital clients and clinical stakeholders to gather requirements and validate product decisions.
- Translate regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PHIPA) into product specifications and ensure compliance.
- Define and drive interoperability strategy with engineering to align to healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
- Devise deployment strategies for local and international hospitals based on infrastructure and IT policies.
- Assist in technical risk and privacy impact assessments and support other teams with product needs as required.
Requirements
- 3+ years of product management experience owning full product lifecycle from discovery through launch.
- Strong ability to write clear PRDs and translate ambiguous clinical or commercial problems into actionable specifications.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare software development, security, privacy, and regulatory implications.
- Practical knowledge of mobile (Android/iOS) and web product development to collaborate effectively with engineering.
- Experience with LLM-powered product development, including prompt design and model evaluation.
- Knowledge of voice and conversational AI product development (ASR, TTS, voice agent design).
- Good understanding of UX design principles for patient- and clinician-facing web and mobile experiences.
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively in high-pressure, changing environments.
- Experience in Agile software development (preferred).
- Understanding of international patient data regulations and data privacy/encryption standards (preferred).
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is required.
Compensation
- Salary range: $80,000 - $85,000 USD annually.
