Role
You will own and drive the product vision and roadmap for Inara, FluidAI’s AI-powered patient education and engagement platform. The role requires a senior product lead with healthcare software experience who can translate clinical and regulatory needs into production-grade features and deployments across hospitals.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the Inara product roadmap, defining features and milestones that deliver measurable value to patients and care teams.
- Write and maintain PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria to align engineering, design, and clinical teams.
- Manage timelines, cross-functional dependencies, and delivery milestones across concurrent workstreams.
- Use AI-powered development tools (e.g., vibe coding, LLM-assisted workflows) to accelerate delivery and prototyping.
- Engage directly with hospital clients and clinical stakeholders to gather requirements, validate decisions, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Translate and incorporate regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PHIPA) into product specifications and ensure compliance.
- Define and drive interoperability strategy, aligning with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
- Devise deployment strategies for local and international hospitals and assist in technical risk and privacy impact assessments.
- Support other teams with product needs as required.
Requirements
- 3+ years of product management experience with ownership of a full product lifecycle from discovery through launch.
- Strong ability to write clear PRDs and translate ambiguous clinical or commercial problems into actionable product specifications.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare software development, including security, privacy, and regulatory implications.
- Solid understanding of mobile (Android/iOS) and web product development to work closely with engineering and make trade-offs.
- Knowledge of LLM-powered product development, including prompt design and model evaluation.
- Knowledge of voice and conversational AI product development (ASR, TTS, voice agent design).
- Familiarity with UX design principles for patient- and clinician-facing experiences.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, clinical, commercial, and operations teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to perform under changing, high-pressure conditions.
- Experience with Agile software development preferred.
- Understanding of international patient data regulations (HIPAA, PHIPA) and data privacy/encryption standards preferred.
- Arabic language proficiency is required.
Location & Working Model
This is an office-first role based at FluidAI’s Kitchener HQ in the Medical Innovation Xchange. Candidates should expect to work primarily on-site.
Compensation & Hiring Practices
- Salary range: $80,000 - $85,000 annually.
